The only problem is that the urine turns a bright orange for about 1 1/2 days. So, one might have to use some toilet bowl cleaner in toilet after urinating. Accurate and reliable. There are two separate tests on each strip: whilte blood cell and nitrite. It is difficult to get absolutely free of some white blood cells. A statement confirmed by my doctor. The nitrite test has proved accurate and reliable for me. (Health and Beauty) I have been diagnosised with a neurogentic bladder which, unfortunately, makes me subject to chronic UTIs. After using this product on 10 different episodes of a UTI and receiving accurate positive results each time (my neurologist confirmed everyone of the 10 UTI's herself) she now calls in a script when I call and tell her office the AZO test strips showed positive. This is a HUGE help for me as I no longer have to take time off from work to get into the urologist's office just to confirm a UTI. The strips state to wait 2 minutes for the results of the white blood cell count. For me they have always gone directly to the deep purple color (500+++) immediately! I highly recommend AZO test strips. There is always a box on hand in my house. I even travel with them! Even doing the usual, like drinking lots of water, urinating often, etc., wasn't helping. I also hated drinking cranberry juice all of the time. A friend suggested I go to a health food store and ask them for a natural remedy. They suggested the Nature's Plus Ultra Cranberry 1000. I have been taking them for over 2 years now and have not had one UTI since then. These pills have truly changed my life. I take one daily - no more bitter juice! I have also suggested these pills to a friend who gets a lot of bladder infections and they too have helped her immensely. These cranberry pills put an end to this problem (as well as somehow addressing other female health issues). If I feel a problem coming on, I immediately increase my once-daily dose to two or more daily and it knocks it right out (drinking plenty of water will help). Out of desperation I've tried other cranberry pills when traveling, but none seemed to work like these. I have weight and blood sugar issues as well as a sensitivity to artificial sweeteners; cranberry juice has never been a viable solution. I have a diabetic friend with the same issues who has found relief from her chronic problems with these as well. I used to only take these when I had a problem. These days I take them daily because they work well as a preventative.
